How do I schedule an appointment with Tonya Vander?

Please use our online form to schedule an appointment with Tonya Vander.

Telehealth

Upon booking your appointment, you’ll receive a link to access your session and easily connect with your therapist. Our platform is compatible with any computer, tablet, or phone equipped with a webcam. If you’re using a tablet or phone, you may need to download the Telehealth by SimplePractice app.

Currently, we offer virtual therapy appointments only to clients located in Illinois. Virtual coaching services are available nationwide, regardless of your state of residence.

Insurance

Compass Therapy and Consulting PLLC is currently in-network with BCBS PPO, Aetna, Cigna, United Behavioral Health, and Magellan. However, we are out-of-network with all other insurance companies, including Medicaid and Medicare. Payment is due at the time of service.

Co-pay estimates are not guaranteed, and the exact amount will only be available once your insurance claim has been processed. After processing, your insurance company will send an adjustment fee report to Compass Therapy detailing the client’s financial responsibility.

We can provide statements for submission to your out-of-network benefits and issue monthly superbills for reimbursement of your psychotherapy services. We accept Zelle, and all major credit cards.

We offer limited sliding scale options, with priority given to members of marginalized communities.

Cancellations

When you make an appointment with us, we reserve that time slot exclusively for you. As is common practice, we require a minimum of 48-hour notice to cancel or reschedule your session. Failure to cancel, reschedule, or show up for your session without the required 48-hour notice will result in a charge for the full cost of the session. This policy allows our practice to offer the available time slot to waitlisted individuals in need of an appointment.
